i'd take the long way home to talk to you at night anything to hear you say hey baby how was your day both of us knowing what we're doing wasn't right but i couldn't turn the other cheek you said misery loves company pull in the driveway and i see that he's home say babe i gotta go as i hang up the phone cover my tracks, erase your name go inside, pour a double, try to drink away the pain and now i'm praying whiskey river to come and take my mind it doesn't matter what i do i think about you all the time i sip it shoot it drink it down anything so i can drown these feelings torturing me i'm here with all that i've got left jameson and your memory dreaming of days when we could live out our own life i never told you i thought i'd be your wife but i wasn't careful enough leaving my heart on my sleeve living in a fantasy we found ourselves a harsh reality where cruel words, blackmail, and violence abound the last time i talked to you i said i'd never see you around lie down alone in the bed i made pace the floor, pour a double, try to forget your name and now i'm praying whiskey river to come and take my mind it doesn't matter what i do i think about you all the time i'll sip it shoot it drink it down anything so i can drown these feelings torturing me i'm here with all that i've got left jameson and your memory i remember graveyards, cheap guitars, pawn shops and pints i remember short nights, pullout couches and holding you tight i remember punk rock, paul revere, and nights at the whiskey priest i remember every whisper, every kiss, every time i breathe and now i'm praying whiskey river to come and take my mind it doesn't matter what i do i think about you all the time i'll sip it shoot it drink it down anything so i can drown these feelings torturing me i'm here with all that i've got left jameson and your memory

Wake Me Up 03:40
headlights retreating told me that you're leaving i watched you go from the inside didn't go out and run to you didn't know if i was supposed to so i sat and stared, watched my life drive by now i'm as broken as i think i've ever been wake me up if this is all a dream words'll wound you with a tongue this sharp didn't mean to break your heart the first time that you opened it to me but it was easier than sticks and stones to tell you you're better off alone this fortress of a heart don't have a key love is hard but you shouldn't have to bleed wake me up if this is all a dream and now i miss you oh i miss you so lord i miss you oh i miss you and you'll never know didn't take too long for you to see i can't give you what i know you need well i could've but didn't is what i mean wake me up if this is all a dream

i should've known, i heard you say her name sneaking around on me, well two can play that game you didn't see me coming for you when i was coming home call it women's intuition but i knew you wouldn't be alone i don't like surprises, you didn't disappoint seeing y'all all tangled up led me to my breaking point honey there's no way for you to get out of this mess been a long time coming, there's no need to confess i've been cheated, you've been lying, we've been through this before you thought you had one up on me but i'm here to settle the score ain't got time to go through the forgive and forget and if you think i'm angry now you ain't seen nothing yet if you're not you should be worried ain't you heard hell hath no fury i won't take the high road, won't turn the other cheek and eye for an eye's just not enough to satisfy me honey don't you even think of saying another word you and your little sweetheart are gonna get what you deserve trust me i'll get my revenge i'll make certain you won't hurt me again i've been cheated, you've been lying, we've been through this before you thought you had one up on me but i'm here to settle the score ain't got time to go through the forgive and forget and if you think i'm angry now you ain't seen nothing yet if you're not you should be worried ain't you heard hell hath no fury fool me once, shame on me fool me twice, you better pack your things and leave i've been cheated, you've been lying, we've been through this before you thought you had one up on me but i'm here to settle the score ain't got time to go through the forgive and forget and if you think i'm angry now you ain't seen nothing yet if you're not you should be worried ain't you heard hell hath no fury

i was free from prison today and all the while i had seen the sun on my face but this was the first time it shined down on me i asked the taxi man to take me home still not quite sure where i'm going but i got free from prison today today's the day i lost that ball and chain never knew how heavy or cumbersome it was till i could run so light and fast and free i never thought i'd walk again carrying around all my sins but today's the day i lost that ball and chain life is scary, all the opportunities the possibilities seem infinite when they're handed to you on a silver plate you can't say no thanks i'll just wait it'll pass you by, you have to seize the day today's the day i rewrite history all my sad, sad stories a life of misery now that's gone and the world is mine to see still not knowing where that road is but i'm going to stop and smell the roses today's the day i rewrite history today's the day i rewrite history

Home 03:44
when home feels like anywhere i can rest my head and the one place it often doesn't is the place where i keep my bed normal is only defined by what you work with every day oh home, where will i find you today? when the only thing that's consistent is the company i keep though i see the world as not full of strangers you're millions of people i've yet to meet though i pride myself on solitude, my friends are the loves of my life oh home, you're whoever i've got by my side i've made my home near oceans and mountains and trees deserts and islands, rivers and runways even the back of a borrowed SUV you see it's not where they leave the light on for you it's wherever you see it shine oh home, you're wherever i open my eyes home... well it's all in how you see it, just keep your heart open wide oh home, where will i find you tonight oh home, where will i find you tonight
